Best place for taking rest. Best for people who are looking for retirement. Best place for getting salary without doing any job. Government like firm. You can see so much of lazy people out there.

STG is horrible here. They usually resolves tickets after an year only. Every department behaves with a lazy attitude. Lack of projects and you can see people roaming around here and there duting office hours. Most of the people swipes in in the morning, goes to home, sleeps, come back by evening swipes out and runs away.

Likes

The work is mostly relaxed, especially if you're on a legacy project. Onsite opportunities can be had in rotation. There are a lot of resources to certify oneself in various skills. There is no strict implementation of working from office. I went on quite a few vacations without taking too many leaves. There's a book club, which is interesting. I like visiting the library whenever I visit the office on a purple moon.

Dislikes

So, relaxed environments come with relaxed pay hikes. Appraisals here are one of the worst in the industry. Also, appraisals are unfairly linked to passing trainings and certifications apart from achievements at work. So, even if you're a hardworking good performer, but miss a single training milestone, HR will have a good excuse to deny your pay hike.

Forget salary hikes in first year after joining. Terrible appraisal (verbal Jan - Dec) & increment (salary increase in Sep - Aug) cycles. God knows what logic. Only support projects to work on.

... bench. And fired without any intimation by forcing to resign by screen sharing. The HR commited to provide 3 months of basic salary but she refused once I resigned. Even she lied that she has not done any such communication.

Job security. Rude people in management and HR.

Hexaware has few projects through which they provide opportunity to employee to go on-site.

The offshore salary increment is so poor that an employee literally feel like outdated on the salary part and feel like lagging behind in the market.
