... the process by 7 months and finally denied to give first appraisal in Nov'23. Also, HCL is deducting the salary in every quarter in the name of quarterly appraisal process. New scheme of looting the employees. Lot of deductions.

HCL is a good organisation to hire newly freshers, but going further the career is struggling as there is no proper compensation as per defining roles and no designation change even if you are delivering the tasks assigned to you in a proper manner. You can expect a good work culture, job security and many other benefits in comparison to other companies but if you are totally focused towards career and growth, you may need to switch after gaining knowledge. Personally, If one is willing to start his career then he can opt for HCL but to stay and expect a long term growth would be a foolish act. Please note : in every organisation there are low lights but in HCL the main concerns are in low light sections.

...ch cannot be described but I would like to mentioned some points to take care. Compensation Growth Updating Designations Favoritism in management no-onsite oppurtunities

For learning and experience this is good company.

Dislikes

Negligible appraisal. No promotions . There is no standard of giving salary. Junior employee in same team with lower band could have higher salary than senior with upper band. They do not give any goodies on Diwali/new year. They do not give any money on referrals. Just the extra miles points.

Good to Grow with multiple Skilsets by having training sessions.

...life balance, Client work needs to be delivered even after out of working hours. No transparency about salary or any other benefits which an employee is eligible. No promotions No hikes Yearly variable gets paid in the 15th month of annual cycle completion.

No remuneration . Got promoted to management role, but salary not revised as per role. No opportunity for career growth and support for right salary, recognition. Always retaining as under paid.
