Good company to work with. Policies and benifits are good. For mechanical engineers, Engineering activity is less.(Based on my project)

Nothing much. Compensation they shall meet market standard and promotion process is slow

Job security, training for new comers

No guarantee of promotion, very little hike or no hike, almost zero employee benefits (except medical), very difficult to get even small things like stationeries, printout, micro management.

HCL offers stable job security; however, career growth opportunities, including promotions, rewards, and salary increments, are limited. Working harder or more dedicatedly often results in being assigned additional responsibilities rather than receiving recognition through salary increases or promotions.

Work life balance you will get but on the other hand salary, employee benefits, appraisals are not even ok ok. Whatever you are getting at the time of hiring just keep it that amount . Don't expect

Appraisals , salary, employee benefits and perks. Learning is not enough to survive in industry

For learning and experience this is good company.

Dislikes

Negligible appraisal. No promotions . There is no standard of giving salary. Junior employee in same team with lower band could have higher salary than senior with upper band. They do not give any goodies on Diwali/new year. They do not give any money on referrals. Just the extra miles points.
