If you are looking for job security with less challenging work, HCL is a company for u, but than don't expect any new learning, Promotions or salary hike. Being in HCL , take salary, don't ask for salary increment, Promotion or new learning I have worked in other reputed companies as well but here micro management is at its peak. Everything depends upon ur project manager, for almost every thing u have to reach out to Your manager. If you have good PR with ur manager u will have gala time.. So In HCL be ready to say Yes sir/ Mam, all time If things don't turn out well with ur manager they will make ur life hell..

No work pressure out side of your shift. Hybrid model to go to office.

...Infrastructure, Good Stable Company, good for the people who likes Job security! Salary is always on time, very good medical facilities and others employees' benefits. Overall, it is very nice company for sure!

Salary is on time but other incentives, your promotion, your bonus, your increments etc are in Arrears, You will get it for sure but always in arrears, HR is not at all effective. Just like your Job which is stable, your salary will be stable as well, please do not expect any other thing except Stability. Company culture in terms of HR is not at all good, no major governance towards how management is calibrating an employee, how promotions are happening? That is the only reason I left HCLTech, otherwise, in other domains, might be the HR as people doing good things. HCLTech is a beautiful organization but some wrong people who are in that position to spoil the overall experience and culture, My advice is to hire good mature people in leadership positions and especially in HR domain. Please save this beautiful company and I'm the sure the top management are doing lots of things to streamlines the process down there but really need to put strong governance on middle management, specially in HR domain

More than 6 months delay in appraisal cycles. No appraisal if you are L3 band and above 20LPA. My last two appraisals were zero. Management politics. Management too much egoistic.

Best company for freshers who want to build carrer in a right path. Exceptional performers will always be rewarded with bonus and certificates. Job security is best in the market.

Dislikes

Promotions might delay even after recommendation. Experienced resources will face gradual hike in the pay scale which is not close the market rate. Work life balance might get affected during month end period due to workload.
