Salary hike won't happen properly . Even if they give it will be less than 4% and can't expect when you will get a hike. Sometimes it take years together to get a hike..All depends on in which LOB you work for and which project is it long term or profit margin etc..will come to picture.so getting a hike has got multiple parameters. If all parameters fall in place you get a max 4%-5%.

Versatile opportunities , great place to upskill, if you are with right mentor and passionate PPL then you prepare yourself for large engagement role for future in IT, but it comes with lot of patience may be of 10 to 15 year

Very low salary offering. People working for so long years struggle for forever to compete the delta in salary compared to market standards

No salary hike even if your ratings are good. If you are a senior then you will not get complete variable pay. You might get promotion and more work responsibilities but it will be a dry promotion without any financial benefits.

Learning opportunities are plentiful. You get to structure your salary if you are in higher band, gives you the flexibility to optimize savings.

...ssure to do more work with less resources. The loudest voice is always right :( If you're covering your parents through mediclaim policies, an amount will be deducted from your salary for contributing to the above. Working with Support staff like IT, EHS, HR, etc., will test you patience. It will be like working with Govt. staff - no ownership, bad response times and what can you do without me attitude. You will be forced to come to office or you will be asked to apply for leave (even if you're working from home) - this happens in certain accounts. Management is Autocratic - my way or the highway. People are forced to write resignation letter, if they are unable to be placed within 2 months when they are in bench. This is layoff, but with a twist.

...Infrastructure, Good Stable Company, good for the people who likes Job security! Salary is always on time, very good medical facilities and others employees' benefits. Overall, it is very nice company for sure!

Salary is on time but other incentives, your promotion, your bonus, your increments etc are in Arrears, You will get it for sure but always in arrears, HR is not at all effective. Just like your Job which is stable, your salary will be stable as well, please do not expect any other thing except Stability. Company culture in terms of HR is not at all good, no major governance towards how management is calibrating an employee, how promotions are happening? That is the only reason I left HCLTech, otherwise, in other domains, might be the HR as people doing good things. HCLTech is a beautiful organization but some wrong people who are in that position to spoil the overall experience and culture, My advice is to hire good mature people in leadership positions and especially in HR domain. Please save this beautiful company and I'm the sure the top management are doing lots of things to streamlines the process down there but really need to put strong governance on middle management, specially in HR domain
