Work-life balance is very good. Having a cooperative boss can make the tenure with the company quite good. Campus is good. Jobs are secure unless you are in sales or delivery. Freedom to work in your own way and take ownership.

There is no growth within the company. With two top ratings and a promotion, my salary remained the same. From what I know, my appraisals were best and I can only imagine what happened to the others. Whatever increment I got was shrewdly apportioned to my variables which are always delayed and highly arbitrary, irrespective of top rating. Also, at senior level, they have a retention policy where they ask for a lot of money at the time of leaving the company. Overall, I'd not suggest joining this company if one has other options.

compensation is not as per industry level. At Senior level appraisal is based on your repo with senior not based on your contribution. Also people take advantage of people at Senior level as they will not get job easily . But this is true for all Indian IT Service company

It's like a government job in many projects, you can keep on working for many years without much worries. Your job is secured unless you make a blunder mistake. If you are close to the boss or the management you will become a King

... for more than three months you better look for a job. You can be fired any day. Not a good company in terms of pay hikes. Mostly not more than 20% gets a reasonable salary revision after the annual appraisal

Suggest how to switch support to MERN

Hey there! I'm working in HCLTECH and have 3 years of experience in a support project simple copy and paste. I have learned HTML, CSS, Javascript, React.js , Node.ja (MERN stack). Also giving an interview right now 10-11 I have appeared. Not selected anywhere. Some interviews I have answered all questions but I didn't hear back. Asking for expected CTC 8 lpa and current is 4lpa. Please suggest how to crack a MERN interview. Do I need to be ready for machine coding rounds Because in the first round I have an idea right now, javascript basics, some coding questions on array and strings also concept of react and node. Please suggest what areas I should focus on. How to tell the interviewer I am a MERN developer not working on a support project because one interviewer had doubts. If someone switched please share your experience Thank you all for your time.
