If we are looking for cool life then its good.. Work culture is good we can easily balance the prof and personal life.

Dislikes

Don't expect the hike and promotions. If we are working for pay then I shouldn't recommand this company but am sure the life will go cool with less work presure here

...cern helping even non-IT people to upskill and grow their career in this field . Pay is fair and management is very helping .

Career is jigsaw puzzle ,you will have to solve and find out your responsibility which as fresher was difficult to know right from beginning though it helped you grow and mature as individual.

HCL is a very good company for you if you have assigned with some project. It will provide you complete salary even though you are intern or in bench.

Dislikes

Mass layoffs in covid time they literally terminated 100s of people without showing any cause and they simply spoiled freshers careers without providing any technical training and without assigning any projects. Simply placed them on bench and terminated.

...perform, you will never get an appraisal that you deseved. Worked for 3+ years While leaving, I was not even having the salary of a Fresher as per normal organization standards.

As a fresher I would suggest not to join hcl , if you are interested in coding and development. It's good for those people who have family and need work life balance. Most of the projects are maintenance or support so you won't be able to learn much .but if it comes to job security then I agree yes hcl has a quite secure job.
