With the right manager, you can literally not work in your entire career. Flexible times and wfh too.

Dislikes

I dislike the work culture, the leadership, strategy of the product division, salary, benefits. Engineering leadership who got promoted to key roles do nothing but freeriding. Just a bunch of ego filled leadership with absolute lack of common sense in running any vertical.

Likes

No one bothers you so you can freely concentrate on your work. But that comes at a price.

Dislikes

If you are not "proactive" you lose your variable pay. It does not matter how much value you deliver to the client. Also, there is no paid leave in HCL. The EPB policy makes sure you lose 3 days of EPB if you avail 1 day of "paid leave".

Because this is big organisation so got exposure of big clients and onsite experience.

Dislikes

... management is not good. Some manager are good but most of them doing politics . i got top rating and promotion on the same time but salary hike was negligible. HR is not taking any action on seniors and there is no work life balance except few projects.

...ry, people join HCL with the satisfaction of job security and work satisfaction. However culture here in HCL is very poor, work life balance is poor , compensation and benefits are also marginal only.

Dislikes

Manager here was very poor, from his knowledge and overall well being perspective. He was trying to pull his subordinates into his really of life all the time and hence he was making others life hell.

Dislikes

CTC they offered and hand on salary was not same. HR shared information will joining was not matches with giving benefits. Leave policy was not satisfied. Managers are not giving free hand learn new technology. Managers are not rude but they always give new tasks.
