Salary Negotiation in an interview
Hi, I have had a first round of interview with the company. And mentioned my salary expectations as 15- 20% from my previous LPA. But after that I feel like I have undervalued my expectations. Being in the field for 9 years with the required skill, considering the market and the prospect company is a well known builder, i should have asked more. Anyway a face to face interview is scheduled next week. How to ask them a higher salary from what I have mentioned earlier. And how much I can ask more. Please help. Thanks in advance.

Quite supportive people as far as developing yourself is concerned. Can develop yourself with various projects they take in due course of time. No worries regarding job security as long as you perform.

Dislikes

Well construction industry is thankless job so it's not that of a company issue but importance given to selected few people sometimes brings your morale down. Have to be thick skinned here.

Good work environment and culture. Teammates are supportive and the management is transparent. There is a huge cafeteria and gaming arcade for chilling. Company policies are good, appraisals are fair and they give good salary hike and bonus every year.
