Salary Expectations
I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?

The company is very good. Management is very supporting to us. Company is accepting our new ideas and allowing us to implement what ever our ideas. Labour turn over is very less in our company. Employees are working last 15 to 20 years.

Lot of HODs are there, decisions are changing depending upon situations. Since recession is there yearly compensation delaying.
