...lly depends on the mgt. Only in some process there is No pressure which is good. You get 1 meal and 1 breakfast or snacks Deducted frm our salary Hybrid - 2 weeks wfh 2 weeks office per month 2 bonuses are rolled out every year No idea if its stopped or still giving, check with HR before joining One is performance bonus in april One is company bonus same for everyone 3 star for salary only because of bonus part

This is for GSC No growth no proper salary Mgt Politics Be ready for the changes in process in teams or in mgt any time. Appraisal are a cheat. I didnt find many TL worthy of the position. Also there is few processes where they put hell lot of pressure, no proper training, very bad idea discovered by the management A guy should learn 30 countries with 1 hr training each country online And shld be able to perform using SOP. No growth out there if youre looking to switch. Internal growth totally depends on the repo you have with mgt and the tenure. Ppl who have good knowledge abt the shipping business are not given importance. Other gsc’s are better as compared to hapag lloyd. For freshers before joining back offices in shipping pls take guidance from someone inside, understand the work and salaries. Out there are many good opportunities in other fields. Back offices only has documentation which is basically copy paste Customer Service And operations (running automation tools) Execl reports and copy paste Didn’t enjoy my time in gsc. Bonus is what actually helped many working there, so ppl always wait for bonus.

Everything is great there. Bonus is awesome. But after getting bonus you can't leave the company for 2 months following by 60 days of notice period.

Dislikes

Salary increment is very poor, in 4 yrs salary increase is only up to 4k-5k. It means yearly appraisal is max to max 1500k for top rated users.

The work environment is good.

Dislikes

You can't expect better salary. The workload will be high for new users and the senior will not help if they asked. Most of the senior will not work properly, they know how to achieve target by using tricks and fake counts. You wouldn't recognise by anyone even though you're working hard. The real issue is salary for new joinee the will mention 16k but you will receive 12k in your account. Every month you will find some deduction in your salary, if you asked the HR they won't respond properly.
