Salary Expectations

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?

... and atmosphere. There is Job security as far as you are dedicated to your work. Salary are always paid on time. Never delayed

Dislikes

After a certain years there is no further growth opportunities and work tends to get stagnant and monotonous. Alternate working on Saturdays makes it difficult to have a work life balance

There is really good opportunity to work with great clients like Amazon, Daily Hunt, Netflix and also some really good startups like ReshaMandi, Bureau, Jar, etc. Also the work environment is really very good and all the teammates are really supportive.
