New Job, Higher Pay, Now I’m Feeling Awkward

I’ve been at my new job for about six months now, and everything’s been going great! I’m getting positive feedback from my manager, and I get along well with the team. The thing is, when I started, my salary offer ended up being much higher than the initial number discussed during my interview. I didn’t negotiate and just accepted the offer. So, fast forward to happy hour with the team, and the topic of salary comes up. I, unfortunately, shared what I’m making, and let’s just say... it didn’t sit well with the others who have been on the team for years and make less than me. They weren’t mad at me, but now I’m feeling a bit uncomfortable and unsure how to handle this situation. Has anyone had something like this happen? How did you deal with it? Let’s chat!

The management is not having experience and they are taking wrong decisions. AS per my prediction after August 2022 they can't pay salary to employees and neither they can pay payment to contractor. They are having only 2 projects in MP.

Nothing is good there that I like to write here.

Dislikes

Salary is very delay. Work pressure is very high.If the billing is not done from site then Management is not going to pay your Salary. No HR policy and SOP. The rule and Regulations of this company is Changing on Every Day. They are not able to pay payment of Labour Contractor & Material Supplier. Nor Having fund for Bike Fuel. Then u can think which type of Company it is. They have Two project in Badwani, Sendhwa, MP Taken from Back to back from Tahal Consulting Engineers Pvt Ltd. Which is terminated from MPUDC in August 2022. Now They Don't have any Project.

There is Nothing to like, Because GMG have no work culture, Management seated in mumbai office is totally non-technical.

Dislikes

There is no work culture, No HR policy, They just believe on their family member who existing at site. Work pressure is very high, No week offs.
