Salary Expectations

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?

Good company with professional and technical products, had lots of learning, had work life balance, cooperative Team mates.

Dislikes

compensation is decent and good, no growth prospects, Top management is slow , you have to do self learning.

Likes

Requirement to assist surgical procedures gives a sense of job satisfaction and importance to employee. Good allowances for accomodation & travelling.

Dislikes

Undepandable and cruel while taking crucial decisions. Stopped operations in Kerala without a reason to substantiate. Company never recognises employee's hardwork and sinciarity. Politics are prevalent in all levels to a heart breaking extended.
