Good company to start the career and learn things. Working environment is good. Work friendly environment.

Dislikes

Salary hike is very low. Salary is not as per the work done. Sometimes trainees do much more work than the permanent employees, but the salary is very minimal. Huge discrimination between trainees and permanent employees in case of work or parties or other curricular activities.

... You can get as much responsibility you want. Or atleast as much work you want Salary : Glenmark offer good hike for candidates. Candidates should not hesitate for 40% to 50% hike. Appraisal: above average 8%. if ur performance is good it can be 18%. People also gets 2%. They are really fair in appraisals. Politics: there is no time for politics at least in this department. Too much work to accomplish no time to think otherwise

First thing first. Promotion: Really difficult to get fast promotion even if you are perfomer. Atleast 2.5 to 3 years for performer. Otherwise 5+years or no promotions. Things don't happen naturally. Even if u r performer you need to follow up and push for it. Irrational KRA's: 0 rating for KRA to Glenmark. Goal setting is totally irrational and irrelevant. You can not even cross questions. Everybody has same KRA top to bottom doesn't matter ur position experience or compensation. You will never know how time flies because if you are serious these KRA will follow you even in your dreams. Job security: as such there is no issue but it also depends on super super bosses. Mid top level guys forced to leave (but they have given decent time to find an option) Work life balance: to get a peace here you need work round the clock. 24*7*365 Innovation: your thoughts doesn't matter. Though it is public listed company it behaves as private Ltd owner driven company. You have to do things the way it told. They only think about changing or switching the process or strategy only when things go worst. And then super super bosses blames you. Basic infra is not up to standard compared to other players of same cap or revenue. You will be disappointed but no worries you will forget everything coz KRA will hunt you.

The company culture is good facility is good, time of working is good, salary and benifits are good..

Dislikes

SAP, Finance, Master Team, & distribution teams has lots of unidentified process. Which takes lots of time and no helpful team to support.

...a they just think the new guy should know everything. Lastly the canteen is pvt. you have to pay minimum 50 still you don't get quality food.

...pur plant is far backward. Here huge difference is observed in HR policies also. Earlier the overtime compensation was Rs. 25 per hour and management was exploiting the manpower and as soon as the overtime charges are raised to Rs. 150 per hour, either the employee has to exit punch 5-10 min before 2 hours so the OT will not be applicable or the manager will not approve the OT.
