.... 30% people were layed off recently. 4. It's like a freelancing to work in GKN. They hold you with good package and work from home till project goes to sop. After that they will lay you off. 5. They don't even give you a proper notice.

...EOPLE. MANAGEMENT SAYS NO BUDGET. 1) There is permanent work from home option 2) The is pay is on the higher side when compared to other automotive companies in Bengaluru. 3) Some team members are friendly.

THERE IS NO FORECAST FOR >4 MONTHS. NO PROJECTS IN HAND. MANAGEMENT CONVENIENTLY SKIPS THE QUESTIONS RELATED TO FUTURE. 1) There is no concept of onsite/deputation. 2) GKN India is a service provider company of GKN Germany. No decision making happens in India. Even to click OK in some tools, Germans have to say yes. Managers in India don't get to say anything. 3) German junior engineers have more decision making power than Indian Managers. 4) There is no function (ASW) development. Only BSW/BLDR development happens in India. ASW projects are only maintenance and unit testing. 5) A LOT OF people have left the company for the above reasons. The attrition was more than 30%
