Everything about GIMSR is pathetic. No proper protocols. A lot of abuse in the department. The Pro VC is biased and not judgemental ability. There is no quality of work . No ethics. The students don't have learning attitude and the worst of all it is very much encouraged by the management. This is not how an educational institute works.

Very Toxic work environment. Promotion is given only to faculty having influential spouses. The ProVC is biased and supports only those who agree with her opinions. The working culture is very bad and favours only local employees. The management is equally biased.

A good institute where emphasis is on growth and the company enables people to realize their true potentials. Appreciation of ones work and motivation to perform better is their policy. Open to innovative ideas and respect for employee's suggestions and plans is very motivating to give ones best.

Dislikes

Disjointed hierarchy and lack of proper organogram makes it difficult to approach the right person for a job. Thinking out of the box is not taken very well by seniors and rigidity in trying new methods hampers implementation of new ideas. Academic degrees are given precedence over knowledge and experience. There are'nt many occasions or events for camaraderie and hence the work environment is very stiff and impersonal bordering on sometimes being perceived as rude and selfish.

If only the college and hospital Administrative Office personnel are more experienced at the National level and are aware of Managing a Medical College for long years. The choice of current ProVC is a Good decision. Hope the scenario changes now.
