Salary Expectations

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?

Likes

Nothing was likeable since it was a family owned business. 10 different companies had to be handled for free. And paid for one. Was made to do lots of personal household work for free. Also worrked for the company owner's sisters company for free. End of year was told that i did not have any work to do hence no increment. It was worse company I ever worked.

Everything was dislikeabke.
