Under paid as per market standards. HR no transperancy in salary structure, they fool the employees in salary structure and once joined we fall into this trap and will realise that we had loss financially and career also...never ever saw such industry which is very unethical, not obeying commitments given at the time of interview. Recommended not to join at any cost, if joined even after reading this review then ready to suffer huge financial loss and then again come here and you will find that review would have save your money and career both. Choice is yours

Gharda chemicals welfare policy is really very good. Annual day, Diwali gifts etc are really thoughtfully chosen and given without discrimination.

Salary:- GCL HR will negotiate with you on you salary and will say they have 20% minimum incentive while negotiating. They will hide that for this year if you work they will give bonus next year Diwali and if you resign they will not give you entire bonus which is actual fraud. Work culture:- Too much favouritism here GM and VPs run everything. You need to ask for permission for each silly thing. You will not be allowed to keep your mobile but all those minions with get to keep mobile and they will not treat you very well. Your each and every action and word will reach to GM and VP with extra addition by minions working around you. For them only one department matters process department others are worthless and will be treated like same. The minions will not behave nice with you and will try to compress you each time. Will make petty decision for you regarding AC, chair cupboard what time you should go for food. You have to do site visit but it's too uncomfortable they will fill their Innova with 6 people start at 6am from Mumbai to Ankleshwar stay 3 days and at last day leave at 5 pm from Gujarat you will reach 12 midnight at home.This happens almost every week. The guest house are also not good and you have to stay compressed by those minions and thier master. Notice period:- 3 month. You will have to sacrifice the inventive of 1 year which is actually not incentive it is your CTC which HR negotiated with you and you will have to pay bay if you want to leave early. If you still have to join and ready for being dominated you may negotiate keeping in mind their 20% fraud. They bring back all the retired GMs back as consultant and they provide additional domination. They make wrong decisions and pin it on someone else who became thier target. Skill development:- other than process not much to learn. People in other departments are not even so knowledgable to teach yoh anything. Civil department is some what good thier manager is also good but others are hopeless.

No salary growth & no appraisal

Dislikes

Compensation is decent, but growth is slow. The work pressure is very high. Sometimes, I have to work 14-18 hours straight in a day as I have to attend client calls in the evening and sometimes late into the night. Managers do not value an individuals’ unique strengths, which is why I have to take back my suggestions most of the times. I do receive appreciation emails from my client, but they mostly go unnoticed during my mid-year appraisals. Also, there is no on-job training for freshers, hence senior folks like me have to guide them step-by-step, which is a pain sometimes.
