Salary Expectations

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?

...I think team of gaas is good support for me and job security is maybe dengerous.career growth is very helpful bcz new different work and project so basically career is bright but salary is low bcz company is small and travel going out might happen.There is so much to learn and work environment is good but innovation is nowhere to be seen and work-life balance is maybe savings.

Dislikes

The reason is salary low and second is nothing.
