Company management totally support the health and safety of employees. I am glad to be a part of the organization that pay attention towards their workers health. In this pandemic situation in Bahrain, no lock down has been imposed yet work at home concept is adopted for office workers but on site precaution measures introduced, training section given to workers. But as per job security as an current GE employee, and working as an EHS Supervisor i am hired from 3rd party on project base not permanent and their is no chance of permanent hiring, even as an hired employee no benefits are given.

Dislikes

Here no compensation given to 3rd party hired employee just like me, leaning opportunities are very much, sometimes have to work more than 12 to 14 hour in a day as per work demands. Individual effort is not much welcomed and appreciated the way it should be. Yes i received appreciation from only my EHS Manager only not from others.

"My time working with GE's Hydro Division in India was marked by poor management, subpar services, and an unfortunate presence of internal politics. I also faced discrimination on the project site, which made my experience deeply unpleasant. These issues ultimately forced me to resign from the company. I hope that GE can take these concerns seriously and work towards creating a more inclusive and efficient work environment for their employees in the future."

GE has very transparent work culture. One can easily approach cross functional team. High performance teams and Employees empowerment is one of the best culture here.

Dislikes

Salary is little less for employees below professional bands. Yearly Bonus is also missing. Location of company is very far away from residential area so lots of time is wasted in traveling (pune plant)

Very nice Campus in Bangalore. Manager Understands about yoir personal needs. Design Review system. Materials to learn.

...ould diminish the efforts. Lot of employee surveys for no or minimal change. Big salary difference among peers.

No clarity, Transparency with is exactly opposite of GE beliefs. Pay is not equitable to work load, Too much workload and process. Which are imposed on Engineers. Other functions are not made that accountable.
