My team members were not just colleagues, they were friends. Workload increased my capabilities too.

Dislikes

Working with GDIS came with its share of challenges, and my primary dissatisfaction was the overwhelming work pressure that seemed to permeate every aspect of our daily routine. Additionally, the workplace environment was marred by several disheartening issues. The strict policy of not allowing colleagues to interact within the office was a significant draw back. Even the simplest conversation with the person sitting next to you was forbidden. Tis policy created an isolating atmosphere, hindering effective communication and collaboration. Teamwork suffered as a result. The leadership, particularly our tam leader, employed a divisive and authoritarian approach that created tension among team members. The "divide and rule" policy was evident as one colleague was encouraged to seek assistance from another, while the other was ordered not to help. This not only hindered knowledge sharing but also fostered a culture of distrust among team members. What was even more disheartening was the apparent favoritism between the manager and our team leader. Their friendship seemed to take precedence over employee welfare, allowing the team leader to act with impunity. Employees found themselves in a precarious position, unable to voice their concerns or request even minor accommodations, like a brief respite during periods of discomfort. Further more the TL's behavior, marked by a lack of empathy and understanding, only exacerbated the toxic work culture. Employees who dared to express their grievances or seek assistance were met with punitive measures, often leading to their forced resignation or termination over minor infractions, such as attire choices that allegedly violated the dress code. The overall atmosphere at GDIS had deteriorated significantly in recent years. Many employees regarded it as a place of gaining one or two year experience before moving on, as the relentless stress and mistreatment became unbearable. Career growth within the organization seemed nearly impossible, and employees were subjected to relentless mental torment. It is disheartening to reflect on how GDIS has changed from being viewed as a welcoming place for its staff just a couple of years ago to its current state, marked by oppressive leadership and a toxic work environment. This transformation has left a lasting impact on employees, tarnishing their overall experience.

Good working environment, nice workmates, work is good and a really good team.

Dislikes

Not sure we are getting paid for the work we are putting in and always make excuses when it comes to hiring more designers and getting more efficient PCs but always pushes us to get more clients.
