Salary Expectations

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?

...ly in this situation but in every situation our Management is quite cooperative. During lockdown also we got our salary in time and after opening of the office our Management after understanding our situation has tried to take every measures so that all the employees doesn't gets into any trouble.

My Job profile sometimes makes me to stay in the office for quite a long period of time.

from HR management to office culture everything is worst here. HR has no knowledge about work. HR has only idea of oiling or buttering people and doing back bitching just to secure her job.. worst place...never recommend anyone to join this office.
