Just had to share this, I got a 100% hike!
I'm keeping this anonymous because I don’t want to disclose it in real life. After two years without a raise, I successfully negotiated a 100% increase at my current company. I focused on creating significant value and worked in cross-functional teams to learn as much as possible. There were times when I was overworked, but it was all worthwhile. I was confident that it was a mutually beneficial situation. My advice would be to choose your job wisely, create value in the right place, and don't be afraid to negotiate.

Initial appraisal and salary was good. Following years, the managers who are not even in you team will be giving appraisals, which is not transparent. I was told to learn a completely different technology for 2 projects. Could not return to my old domain.

... and very happy environment. Good leadership, they have a plan for the future. Good Benefits, Variable pay is very high, but they pay 100 percent all the time(not sure for everyone) Special mention is CEO Hari and CTO Girish. They know how to build a family.

Team members are helpful & are there for any support.

Dislikes

Appraisal are not upto the mark. Training programs are not there much. There is no yearly bonus. Even though company provides medical insurance it is deducted from the CTC. You will lose work life balance sometimes.
