Salary Expectations

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?

The institution is open up for encouraging innovation and research.As an autonomous organization it induces latest technology as part of curriculum thus encouraging students making their path easy ahead.I love to serve this organization as they follow some ethics carried forward from the founder of this institution.We can work happily in this organization by balancing our personal lives.

Dislikes

Compensation is decent but it's growth is slow. Rules of government get into effect very slow.
