Good learning.

Dislikes

This is not the way to build companies at all. Founder and co-founders dont know how to run the company at all and are not helpful at all if team needs their help. Decision making is super slow and the blame is passed as light-speed on someone who is taking the initiatives and hard-working. Founder should look at sale of the company and save remaining good-will.

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?
