Salary Expectations

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?

Great culture, flexible working hours,one can take leaves if needed,no questions asked,company owners are good.Every year party at Jehanuma, every friday snacks apart from daily snacks (Manohar's samosa, kachori,dhokla)

No promotions, its a proprietorship company so if you are close to the boss your job is secure. I personally don't like to pamper someone.Although it is good for female employee

10-7 Job weekends off.

Dislikes

Normally you have to stay after office hours, but you have to reach office on time. You don't get leaves. yearly leaves are given on seniority basis (LOL). Don't get public holidays (only major once are given to religion basis like Hindus don't get eid off Muslims don't get Diwali) Red tap, boss culture. No liveliness in the environment. Lunch hour is excluded from the working hours so you have to work for 10 hrs.
