...onsistent performer so was promoted to senior sales exe position after a year. Salary was not that great but incentives were high. I enjoyed working there. One thing that I want to notify here is that my bosses( Shivali,Akshay,Gopal) were all energetic & passionate people & business head of fitness first, Ms. Shivali use to say one thing that you can only survive in ff if you have a passion for fitness. And I had that. So I survived. So this is one key thing that everyone can consider while applying. The sales pressure was enormous. Work culture was good as well. If you’re disciplined passionate highly energetic person who likes challenges then ff is the place for you. Bosses were always encourage us to workout before shift starts. Work environment was excellent and company was open to innovation and adopts your suggestion too if finds it worth applying.

Dislikes

...ardly get to see any politics. Appraisal was late and slow and was minimum. They took almost 6-7 months to promote me to senior sales exe position and the raise in the salary was really less. No fixed working hours. You have to come as per your scheduled appointments. So work life balance is gone for a toss.

The good thing about fitness first is that they keep updating their trainers that whats going on the fitness industry and moreover i learned to work like a professional and groomed myself which will help me in my near future.

Dislikes

Teammates were excellent but the think is they don't stick to their words.

I learned and gained a lot in FITNESS FIRST . I feel like home being there for almost 8 hours .. Everything was so synchronized and so precise that being as a Trainer and as well as clients end, no one ever faced any problems as such . Best part about it that I worked with most of the talented , skilled and most knowledgeable trainers I ever worked with . It was like dream come to be a part of such prestigious club on this planet . Being honest , Nothing as such . I do my work as it was required. I fulfilled my managers target and come back home

I personally found that for a beginner its good to start with Fitness First to build a solid Foundation they offer great Skill Development and learning opportunities.

Dislikes

Management, work enviroment (I mean its quite strict) and Politics sometimes work-life balance.

No pre training given to new recruits, ppl with low or no esthethics of managment experience are given promotion without against company policies with favour, no compensation on travelling done due to work related stuffs, L & D department for newly launch software called Perfect gym which the managment use is so dumb, ppl expect things to be learnt on rocket science speed which is technically impossible ( only 30 mins training given to learn the software for the rest of your life).& even the L & D department doesnt know the software fully although they had been work with software for last 6mths, hiring & retaining parameters are poor, no work ethics are adapted, exceptions are given on every special ppl who they like.
