Salary Expectations

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?

Worst company.. only office politics and mind manipulation is going on! Cost cutting is there, salary cutting is there. Never contact with that consultancy or work with this organisation

There was nothing to say good about company.

Dislikes

Totally negetive environment, lot of pressure on their employees, not any promotions not any activities and target based company so they deduct your salary without any notice. After resignation they don't even clear all the things FnF (documents, salary & PF etc.).
