Salary Expectations
I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?

We as team work in multiple projects like shopping malls, hotels, hospital and housing townships. Working with Al Hokair gives a plus point that colleagues are from various cultural backgrounds and we work happily in collaboration.

Dislikes

Compensation is decent, but growth is bit slow. The work pressure is as any other real estate & construction company. Managers value an individual's "unique strengths" so our suggestions and ideas are valuable. I do receive appreciation emails and letters from line Manager usually and those appreciations count during mid year appraisals. There are on job trainings provided by management time to time.
