The company is open to adopt latest technology: I love the fact that I am a part of a team that markets reliable, high-quality products and has a global client base. As a result, I get to travel abroad. But on-site travel is completely dependent on your project and client's location. Another plus point is that my colleagues come from various cultural backgrounds, and we work happily in collaboration.

Dislikes

Compensation is decent but growth is slow. The work pressure is very high. Most of the time, I had to work for 18 - 20 hours in a day due to tight schedule of client's deliverable, I had to attend business calls in the evening and most of the time late night calls as well. Partner and managers do not value an individual's core strength, knowledge base, etc. and always ignored my suggestions most of the times, however, the same idea used to be accepted when client is annoyed with their ideas or suggestion and the blame game starts. I do receive appreciation emails from my client, but they mostly go unnoticed during my mid-year appraisal. Also, there is not enough subjective training for freshers, hence senior folks like me have to guide them step-by-step, which is a pain sometimes. The most importantly no room for personal life and micro management by senior leaders which leads to dissatisfaction.

Exposure to complex returns and working with US team. EY will provide to strong learning platform. Specially Tax - Very good exposure to US taxation. Flexible working hours and zero micromanagement. If you're ready to compromise money over learning, EY is better option

Dislikes

Salary is very very low compared to industry. Need to work minimum 60 hrs a week during busy seasons ( also on Sunday for last 3-4 weeks of busy seasons) I think the scheduling [ 1200 to 1500 hrs per annum ] North- south divide and also favoritism

... and the quality of work, you get promotion only based on tenure and sycophancy. No work life balance Gender pay disparity Leadership are only there to pretend to be on calls and barely have any idea about what the team is doing. Can't even close open positions on time. The HR and hiring managers are pathetic at hiring people with the right skill set

Hybrid , no fix time to stay in office, Managers are good and supportive.

Dislikes

... don't have expect good hike.From last 2 years we are getting single digit hike. Your salary will be far away from market standard if you join EY GDS. Don't expect promotions. Everyone is leaving and attrition rate is high due to low hike.

...leadership’s toxicity. She likes people pleaser and no body should question her. And all those you sucks up gets a promotion, good bonus and hike.
