The Managers do micro management and when it comes to promotion, they do not see your performance throughout the year and just stress on the leaves you have taken even if that’s due to medical reason

Likes

EY GDS is a good pay master. Work culture is good but at the end it all depends upon team. Great learning opportunities. Off lately they are into lot of automation. They groom people very well.

Dislikes

When they hire senior managers & above from other teams, they pollute the culture. It's become very hierarchical & bossy. Leaves are not granted, work life balance is non existing. Buttering culture has peeped in. All holidays, including Holi & Diwali are optional. In short, all good things that EY stands for has gone. PS - be careful if you get call from EYC RVS team

... deal with onshore and within teams also talking in English has been normalised. And If we talk about Salary then ya it provides little extra than other industries and Big 4s India obviously because they are earning in pounds and Dollars and giving us penny but for us Penny is a lot... ❤️

Dislikes

Work wise, you may be little bit dissatisfied because level of work is not that much challenging where you need extra skills. But there are some engagements where you are given full engagement to handle from GDS side and its kinda feeling of our ownership.

The culture and compensation in the firm is very poor, not as per industry and also not going with another big4s also. Even they charged one time for employees insurance, that's I didn't see in my previous firm KPMG GDC.

Job security, timely pay, other benefits, work life balance and addition courses to enhance skills.

Dislikes

POOR ALINGNMENT OF WORK, employess with legal background n experience are getting Tax, accounts and admin related work.
