The organization provides lots of scope for learning. However, the work culture is not so promising. Biased people chair higher positions who will ruin your career if you don't live up to their expectations. Work-life balance is not so great.

Having started my career with Express and climbed up the ladder of hierarchy There, I can say with authority that it is an organisation where talent, hard work and application are appreciated and rewarded. They have a cultural transformation programme in place, through which they aim to build leaders out of promising candidates and guide them on the path to personal and professional achievement. The organisation is flexible with leaves and affords one the opportunity of prioritising personal life as well. The environment is generally amiable and encouraging. The thrust on youth and commitment towards their overall growth is exemplary and commendable. Politics is limited to the top echelons of power, thereby reducing interference in the day to day work of the individual. Irrespective of the desk you work on, you get the opportunity to travel and file stories. However, there is a continuous assessment module, which analyses the development of individual and their skill improvement. All efforts are made to retain good talent. All in all, a great company to work at.

While the salary package is good, they offer no benefit. There's no gratuity, PF or other such incentives. Leave encashment option is unavailable and HR department, as is its wont, is conspicuous by its absence. The sole benefit is that being a contractual employee, your tax bracket is flexible.
