EXL Service is a good company overall in case of IJPs. If you are looking to learn and grow fast EXL is a good option.

The only drawback in working with EXL is the salary. The salary is very low as compared to market standards and if someone wants to leave they don't have a retention policy of offering an increment. No matter how how big of an asset you are for the company they won't retain you unless you are on the level of OPS manager and above. Even if your manager tries the HR won't approve a pay raise. On The contrary while hiring QA from outside they offer good package but won't offer the same to a QA who has been outperforming in the process and seems to be a valuable asset.

I'm working in EXL from last 4 years , good environment to work but problem is salary as compare to other companies exl is very poor about salary Promoted as QCA and still didn't got appraisal for it so sad.. Best for freshers only for minimum 2 years then u have to leave it otherwise u will stuck there.

Everything Salary variation is too much Let's take one employee is getting 4 LPA but another employee for same post same lob may be getting 10 LPA NON AC CAB

Disconnect with leadership and it doesn’t feel like you are part of a system, rather an individual contributor, if you are working on pilot projects, beware that none cares for you until or unless the project works!

Work life balance is not good. Management should be thoughtful and inculcate good culture with people managers for effective implementation of good work ethics
