No Salary Discussion in My Appraisal — What’s Your Experience?
In my appraisal meeting, they didn’t ask or discuss my expectations about my salary or hike percentage. The entire discussion was only about feedback and performance review. After the meeting, I asked why they didn’t allow me to share my expectations or reveal my hike numbers. They told me that the hike numbers would be decided only by the owner and then they would inform me. I feel an appraisal meeting should include open discussion about both performance and future expectations. What are your thoughts? Does this happen in your company too?

The company promoted buttering culture. Senior management believed in sacking subordinates to make the team leaner and get promotions and variable pay. Not an open for policy. Arm twisting techniques used during appraisal.

I haven't like anything about this organisation... Although I had worked with this company for 6 years but that was the worst time of my life... I kind of trauma I faced there I can't explain.

Salary, lot of politics is there... Seniors are not promoting juniors on the basis of work , they are promoting on the basis of favouritism, work environment is pathetic..senior manager dosent know how to speak with subordinate, use offensive language while giving feedback... There is a mental harrasement of mine.. My senior manager use to speak non sense about my Hindu religion.

The work environment is very good prosess is very nice managers, and team members of the organisation are very helpful. Cab facility was great with full security for womens. I was satisfied working with EXL my skills has been improved.
