Managers Most of the managers/leadership team came from service based companies and they do micro-management on all activities like service based companies No good policies for health insurance, Car lease policy, etc 3 months notice period Strict office hours timings

Work wise you'll be good if you standby your thoughts and don't need to be a slave. Free food and transport were awesome. Goodies are there but can be improved.

Dislikes

Indian managers with their service based mindset of micro management. Not all, but some. You should be unlucky if you're placed under them. 3 months notice period for a product based company. Strict 9 hours and 3 days WFO. Unwritten policy.

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?
