After takeover by Burman family, the work culture become worse, people are fired saying that the position has been dissolved, people are also transferred to different department without any prior notice.

... benefits are decent enough once you climb up the ladder beyond a certain level. However at middle & lower levels pay structure is on the lower side. Recognition of sound talents is a very positive aspect associated to the company as they emphasize in nurturing & recruiting fresh talents with high degree of skill and expertise.

Dislikes

Major drawback is work culture, as colleagues are mostly inclined to malign someones ability and achievement thereby affecting the moral of the entire team because of their cynical traits & biasness towards certain personnels tend to ruin the bonding within the team. Employees are compelled to work / stay late inspite of completion of task just for the sake supervisor insists them to do so thereby adversely affecting work life balance. Career growth is mostly hindered as certain section of employees' efforts and contribution are completely ignored by the management due to influence of severe discrimination amoung employees. Training programs and educating new recruits about company policies also requires improvement on the part of corporate HR. Very much resistant to innovativeness and adopting new techniques for task accomplishment.

Likes

The company shares a decent work culture. There are no unrealistic targets or deadlines you have to meet. Pretty good work life balance as well. Have worked in the plant based on Kolkata. The team there is a nice one to work with and bond with.

Dislikes

The career growth is next to nothing and hence the compensation. The heirarchy is way too stretched and doesn't make any sense at all. You won't get any on job training. Lots of work are still in legacy mode, where the world has moved on dynamically.

Likes

Colleagues are very supportive. Salary is always on time, even during Covid19 lockdown.

Dislikes

There is no recreational activity. HR policies, leave policy need to be revised. Opportunity for personal growth is limited. Late sitting is obvious.
