It is a family-run MSME, with main focus into "Fabrication of Steel Structures". They own a decrepit manufacturing setup with all secondhand and rundown machines. They have a small office at a place inconveniently located to access from different parts of the city (Kolkata). Almost-identical twin brothers each with a basic academic qualification of a bachelor degree in commerce manage their business like a 'local grocery shop'. I don't find anything to be liked in this company.

...ys and scheduled holidays. Hence, no play, only work and work and work. 👉🏾 Salary gets deducted in absence of any credit balance for leaves. On the contrary, no encashment allowed for credit balance for leaves! 👉🏾 No ideation encouraged. Only mute subordination is expected from employees. 👉🏾 Salary disbursed only by 10th of each month. 👉🏾 No fixed travel policy or conveyance policy. For people in Sales, it is a very serious problem. 👉🏾 Annual turnover is below ₹50 Cr. Not worth to dream for a career. 👉🏾 No delegation of duties. Twin Brothers prefer to do everything by themselves. Experienced and senior employees may find this highly suffocating. 👉🏾 Employees are expected to indulge in every domain where they have 'zero' expertise. For example, a guy in Sales shall be asked to source vendors and develop skills like a Procurement guy. Whereas, a person with experience in hardcore Production shall be posted at remote sites to work like a Project Supervisor. I have seen a guy with skills in Drafting & Drawing to be sent to a vendor's factory to do Quality Inspection. Anyone is bound to be frustrated within weeks in such an organization where nothing is organized. 👉🏾 Twin Brothers behave like erstwhile 'Zamindars' and treat their employees from all ranks & files as their hapless 'Subjects'. Worst employers I have ever come across in my career spanning 3 decades.

Turnkey Project Negotiations, Steel Market and Working with EPC contractors. Had free work hand over venturing new EPC Contractors and working for Government Departments and its Projects for roads and bridges. Further the e-tendering process and business generation from oversea clients.

Dislikes

As I am from non-technical background the growth prospect obviously reduced. The travel terms were as per actual but had to arrange from our end. Working environment was good as a team used to work and hence there was extreme demand of cooperation and coordination.
