Salary Expectations

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?

...e prime location(Banashankari) in Bengaluru which makes the commute hassle free. Yearly salary hike is good. Work-life balance is good. Flexible timings. Free lunch and snacks.

Dislikes

Should have more in-house events and activities to keep the employees entertained. No cab facility.

No appreciation, No growth opportunities and Insecurities are created time to time by Managers to employees, merit increase is NOT done with respect to employees performance and is very poor

average years of experience in this company is 15yrs, let that be clear before you start feeding your expectations. Majority of the people here are mature, sensible, very well mannered, cultured and humble, and also technically very strong. very few(less than 10%) of the people are exactly opposite to this and are the ones who are getting most benefited from the company because of the very kind nature of remaining 90% of the people.

Dislikes

Senior managers(ppl with 20+) are very very very good, intermediary level managers are equally bad.
