... see you as a machine out of which they shall squeeze as much juice as possible. Salaries are definitely better than most other IT companies for people having upto 5-6 years of experience, beyond that I would say there are plenty of companies out there who would pay significantly better if you are that good at your role. But Ergo as an organisation does take every possible step to retain an employee and give them a very competitive compensation (better than most in my experience). You will get a fixed 10 percent appraisal, hefty bonuses every other quarter. This is far better than 99% IT companies out there. They also send on site to Germany (you have to be lucky enough to get allocated in such a project) for multiple months or even a year. I don’t see anyone on this site mention all of these benefits. Job security is also 10/10. The amount of useless people that I see getting paid an amount that they will probably not get anywhere else honestly made me feel like the company is mother teresa incorporated. You put all of this together and I would argue that this company is jackpot for anyone with 0-4 years of experience. Now coming to the part that might trigger a lot of you folks. I personally left the organisation because I felt that their operations kind of caters to all employees and the ones who constantly have a greater output than their teammates also have to be happy with the same incentives and this is why I left and why I have seen several smart engineers leave Ergo. It is definitely not what I read on this website because most of it is written by entitled people who do not understand how an economy or just an individual organisation at the scale of Ergo functions and goes about generating paychecks for everyone. Most of the negative reviews while they do have merit (I mean who am I to discredit one’s lived experience) they do not do justice to reality because nowhere do they mention that despite having an average CV you get hired at a minimum of 50% increment on your current offer and then you enjoy all the facilities that the company offers and it is these below average over entitled people who are writing these reviews, so I thought since the management has put up with my tantrums for over a year I might as well give a genuine and positive perspective on things. So in short if you have below 5 years of work exp and the role that Ergo is offering is not very different to what you have built in your career so far, take it. Ergo is arguably the best for such a scenario. If you don’t like working here after you join complete one year take the hefty bonuses and leave, I guarantee you will realise after working here how good the work culture is. On the other hand if you have over 5 years of experience and you wish to see 50-60% increment in your pay annually then of course take Ergo offer only if it is maximum as switching a year later is really your only choice of plan. But if you are content with your pay and wish to make your CV better and are now looking for longer lasting leadership roles in the same company then I would say Ergo is definitely far better than the IT giants. Job security is 10/10 and you have an option to build towards becoming a key employee in the organisation, vastly improving your CV and also your leadership skillset. If you are the kind of person who does not shy away from learning and adapting your experience at Ergo will be good I promise but will it be the shoe that finally fits? I don’t know personally in hindsight I would say such a organisation does not exist. If you are the kind of person who sees life as okay I want an all rounded good life good pay, safe job, chill friendly corporate life then this organisation is paradise im not kidding.

"It's disheartening that only favorite employees receive appraisals, regardless of their performance, while others are undervalued. We are often told that we lack skills, only to be assigned extra tasks and subjected to additional few days sessions, seemingly just to prove that we are incompetent."

... are going through KT session which also offer opportunity to upscale my skills. Other than basic facility's which everyone expects from the employer job security, timely salary, yearly appraisal cycle, gaming zone, good infrastructure, office amenities , coffee stop, good canteen is well taken care no complaint about it. During our recent CEO connect townhall session, CEO openly communicated if we have any AI or technology idea which can improve the existing process they are open to it and even ready to sponsor if idea has potential and use case. This brings innovative culture and opportunity everyone to come up with thier own idea.

Have seen few people who constantly complain about the company and bordly fall into two category - work from home / no hybrid Well from day one it's been said to everyone that company will follow work from office model, still people joins and then complain about it - targeting a specific person from the department Only suggestion would be please speak with department head and bring your concerns upfront instead of writing fake reviews online anonymously won't help, this shows Professionalism and positive attitude.
