Challenges in the organization - Lack of support: Engineering manager and existing employees are not supportive; you won't receive help to understand the current product flow. - Engineering manager is very danger person in Entrata, if you ask questions related to product then you may get fired or being placed on PIP. - Existing Engineering Manager/Employees having so much interest to know your package/salary but you should not respond. - Expected to work late into the night. - If you have financial dependency then you will in trouble and potentially harming your career - I would rate this organization in RED

I have been working with Entrata more than 5 years it has been Incredible journey from the day one. Entrata has good work life balance and flexibility in working hours.

Work-Life balance As a Data Scientist, one will get good exposure to time-series problems. Company encourages people to learn and groom.

Dislikes

Job security No recognition/appreciation for good work. Salary is not as per industry standards. Management is less aware about/interested in data science field. Communication gap can be seen while planning project roadmap. Shocking differences can be seen in overall biweekly feedbacks and annual performance review. There is only one team in DS, hence one will not have any other option but to quit the job in case manager tries to place his/her failure on the employee.

Stable work culture, good compensation, Good equipments - new laptop (this is important as well), Regular distribution of goodies helps to cope with few frustrations

Some teams have unhealthy power politics, Some employees lack skills which create a burden on doers in the team, Management need to recognise that talking and doing are different things and talkers contribute way lesser than they talk.
