They guys are paying 50 percent of our salary ..already our salary is nothing and now they are deducting half of the amount and they have decided to leave us now ...

Visiting the various hotel venues for a corporate event & the possibility of some well deserved free lunch.

... off wasn't even guaranteed even if you put it in writing to your director. The pay was way below the minimum for the amount of work & knowledge you have to posses to do the various jobs required. The equipment that Encore would sell to their clients was severely out dated, as well as malfunctioning. It was also heavily over priced which would infuriate most clients. The old equipment would usually malfunction during a live event, cause massive clients refunds to upset & disappointed clients. Also the hotels would expect the impossible within the limits they would stipulate, causing even more problems. The Encore staff was usually overrun by men who had something to prove with their very minute amount of audio/ video knowledge. They always felt the need to "show off" what they think they were knowledgeable of, which was usually inaccurate at best. And finally, come summer time, your work hours would fall drastically!! You could go from having 60 hours/ week to during the summer, having 20 HOURS per week! This would go on for at least 3 month of having "Part-time" hours even though you were hired as a full time employee. Vacation time off was at best 15 days off for the entire year, which is pathetic.
