Salary Expectations

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?

Less work pressure, silent atmosphere, good place if you start your career at covid.

Dislikes

Low pay scale even a b.tech(chemical) gets 12000 a month. High politics, no help from peers untill you bend for them. Everyone wants to prove you are waste and an unwanted asset for the company. No canteen if you need food 8km should be gone
