Salary Negotiation in an interview
Hi, I have had a first round of interview with the company. And mentioned my salary expectations as 15- 20% from my previous LPA. But after that I feel like I have undervalued my expectations. Being in the field for 9 years with the required skill, considering the market and the prospect company is a well known builder, i should have asked more. Anyway a face to face interview is scheduled next week. How to ask them a higher salary from what I have mentioned earlier. And how much I can ask more. Please help. Thanks in advance.

The company is based on trading machines from indian machines and imported machines with latest technology. I love the fact that i am a part of a team that markets reliable high quality product that has a global clients location. Another plus point is that my colleagues come from various cultural back grounds and we work happily in collaboration.

Dislikes

Compensation is decent but growth is slow. The work pressure is very highsome times , I have to work 14-18 hours straight in a day as I have to attend client calls in the evening and sometimes late into the night.Managers do not values an individuals unique strengths.
