Salary Expectations

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?

Unprofessional moody management, unhygienic crammed office space, discriminative behaviour, bad office politics, they keep your passport and personal documents with them and make you beg for it, terrible salaries, poor work culture, no work life balance, extended working hours and wasteful Saturday review meetings, 2 year contract.
