All of us got only 1 increment of 5 percent in 5 years and only 1 bonus in 5 years plus no opportunity for promotions hence no growth at all, also the shifts keeps on changing every day and it's rotational so work life balance is not at all available
Emirates Airline supported me during the good times but during the covid-19. Emirates airline straight away put their hands up and paid me and my colleagues just 25% of basic salary and chucked out more than 50000 employees in 2-3 Months of time with a compensation as small as peanuts.
Emirates Airline left the hand of employees in the crucial time when the same employees who build the airline with their hard work. Unexpectedly when the airline had different options but they decided to choose the harsh one by leaving their employees stranded and unknown in not our home country.
Emirates is one among the best company to work. It's a
large company with huge number of staff and multinational, good place get experience. Management is good exception are always there like black sheep. Policies are favourable to company cost saving and also beneficial for staff.
...ituation demands for current cost cutting steps redundancy taken by Emirates.
However they should have paid full salary for last 3 months Which is as per UAE labour Law.
However I am satisfied I was working with Emirates. I accept their decision gracefully.
I wish all the best to Emirates.

As an airline company - they are giving air-travel benefits. Its awesome. But you have to fund yourself for a trip since their salary structure is badly managed. Grade 7 till VP are getting more than enough and rest are getting peanuts.
Company reputation - entire worlds know you ! no need of any recommendation. That's the beauty.
Brand and Work Culture - Its a privilege ( except IT department).
Work culture & Growth in IT department - You will be rewarded everything ONLY IF YOU ARE A TAMIL.
Politics - Emirates Group IT (EG-IT) is known as the Political Kingdom of the Group. Narendra Modi / Amit Shah will stand behind them. Beware of lady monsters too !
Job Security - Zero. Even though its a semi-govt organisation, they will fire people just like that. They will name it differently. That's it !
There was a system to recruit people as 'consultant' - which was the main source of income for managers as commission. People earned millions from it.
Finally, beautiful young girls / ladies (open minded) - Always welcome. You will be exempted from all of the above.
New comers get better paid than existing staff. Some managers do not like to work with experienced and senior employees. Many laid off employees were called back post covid, but I was not called back, probably due to my age.
