Internal politics and favoritism, differentiation between laterals and insiders, career growth saturated in recent years, hesitation to share knowledge between different teams i.e. lack of one team feeling, old employees think like its their empire, less training's

1.) Initial salary better than industry average.

1.) Appraisals are poor 2.) Up skilling opportunities not present apart from initial job aided training 3.) Internal job transfers non- existent 4.) New policies aimed at curbing yearly incentives 5.) Most initiatives are worthless and seem to keep middle management busy. Management really needs to evaluate this situation.

Likes

You will learn and develop new skills working with so many experienced people. They do change your role as required (cross functional movement).

Dislikes

Top management is not so supportive and not so flexible in many aspects.

Likes

Good company for people having instrumentation background. People with software development skills won't get much learning experience. Policies are not IT industry friendly. Management try to make sometimes feel that they are supreme and tries to make you feel that they are boss. Job security wise a good company. If you want to take your expertise to next level and learn new things in software development then this is not a place for you.

Most of the policies are not employee friendly. Employees treated like workers and there is no trust on employees.

Likes

Work culture is quite good. Your views are heard.Open door policy helps employees to put forward their concerns to higher management and get them resolved. Employees are re-skilled/up-skilled to ensure they are always ready to adopt changes in the industry. Overall company policies are good helps employees to have work life balance.

Dislikes

Scope of work is kind of limited due to the adopted business model.Therefore exposure to all areas of project is limited. But efforts are being taken to get rid of it.
