Salary Expectations

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?

This company has long term plans.Company has set up new manufacturing facility In Chennai. I am sure this brand is going to be one of the most admired brand in india' because of the product quality and very good service back up. Regarding work culture : This company respects its empress and provide equal opportunity to every team member.

As a fact, Job security was not full enough and lot of politics in it. Work culture was not a hassle free atmosphere and it doesn't have flexibility also Management is superb eventhough they don't want to listen lower cadre employees while you're giving better suggestion & cost control. Regarding organization policies, it's not applicable to employees who are working in such environment and seems to bias for those influential employees

Never give an opportunity or chance to show our skills & talent in order to achieve the desired results in a time frame
