Salary Expectations

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?

The working environment is very good. Currently we are allowed to work from home due to covid situation. Elite Legal Solutions (ELS) policy is to research and learn and while learning one can excel to join the senior management one day. One day is off as per your choice but prior intimation is required. Management is very supportive and freiendly.

Dislikes

There is no international exposure right now and no education assistance. Sometimes it is difficult to cope up the work upto the desired level with short notice period. There is a small cafeteria which should be little more. Rest is ok if we see the other organisations of this level.
