New Job, Higher Pay, Now I’m Feeling Awkward

I’ve been at my new job for about six months now, and everything’s been going great! I’m getting positive feedback from my manager, and I get along well with the team. The thing is, when I started, my salary offer ended up being much higher than the initial number discussed during my interview. I didn’t negotiate and just accepted the offer. So, fast forward to happy hour with the team, and the topic of salary comes up. I, unfortunately, shared what I’m making, and let’s just say... it didn’t sit well with the others who have been on the team for years and make less than me. They weren’t mad at me, but now I’m feeling a bit uncomfortable and unsure how to handle this situation. Has anyone had something like this happen? How did you deal with it? Let’s chat!

Salary is on time, no one disturbs you when you are on leave or Holidays. Good place to learn and implement the same.

Company is very unpredictable. You will get a brief and road map about the plan and very next day same get changed. So all your hard work gose for toss, but you have to complete the new plan within previous deadline. You don't have any job security.

Dislikes

No job security specially those who are in contact. Any given day you will get invitation on Google Meet with HR, RM and operation head and you are done on the same day. They Lure you with good salary which you can't deny and within 6th or 10th month they're will be no job in your hand. How hard you work doesn't matter So, join at your own risk specially those who get job offer on 1 year contact.
